The head of Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia has gone to a pilgrimage across Russia

The metropolitan Illarion heading Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia in July of this year makes a pilgrimage on the holy sites of Russia.

Pilgrims have stayed at the hotel “Pokrovsk” — the Pokrovsk stavropigialny convent.

The trip is dated for century of revolution and ten-year anniversary of reunion with the Moscow patriarchy, the press service of Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia reports.

The delegation of believers, is headed by the metropolitan Illarion will bow to shrines of Moscow, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Ryazan, Murom and the Crimea. Trips to Trinity-Sergius Lavra, Optina and Vyshenskaya of the desert are planned.
